Wondering how you can get more clients and build a business that makes you so proud?
Building a business from scratch can be very demanding and tasking at times, this might include anxiety, struggles to get more clients, how to keep the business afloat, and much more.
The marketing industry can be a bit competitive when it comes to credentials and personal skills, but neither of these guarantees consistent patronage from clients.
Why wait so long before your next clients show up? In this article, I am going to share differently proven ways you can get clients for both your physical business and service-oriented business and get booked in advance!
Here’s how to get clients that have never bought and how to keep existing ones coming back.
1. GET A SPECIFIC AUDIENCE FOR YOUR BUSINESS
Whether you sell a physical product or create services for your customers, targeting a specific audience builds trust. It tells your potential and existing customers that you know what you’re doing and will definitely understand their needs.
By doing so, you will grow your business faster and you will be able to charge more for your services if you specialize in a certain area or niche.
2. BUILD AN ACTIVE SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE.
Social media helps build trust and expand your reach when it comes to business. In my experience as a salesperson, I’ve reached more customers by posting to Facebook groups, uploading images to Pinterest, and actively engaging with people on Twitter.
Here’s the cheat code, always stay relevant as a normal human, not just a marketer, then add deals to your posts when you notice people are actively engaging.

Social media also builds buzz and excitement, especially when you include other people. For example, many people turn to Twitter for advice and recommendations from their peers. If they are asking a question? Answer it! Are you looking for someone to hire? Be honest, let them know you can help, and provide them with a link to your portfolio. Very easy! that way you are not only selling yourself but also your brand.
3. ATTEND NETWORKING EVENTS AND MEETUPS.
I know this can be a bit strange for introverts like you and me. But don’t you think it’s time for us to stop being that creeper at an event, why don’t you go to the event to find CONNECTORS?
Business owners, small and medium-sized businesses, and entrepreneurs believe in attracting the right kind of people to business meetings. This, according to surveys – Convention 2020-The Future of Exhibitions, Meetings and Events, is one of the most popular methods of attracting business.
A simple ‘hi, hi’ with people at an event can lead to a conversation where they become leads or introduce you to others who might need your service.A quick trick, make sure you watch events and Meetups relevant to your niche on social media or connect with friends who can easily help you with the invite.
4. JOIN PROFESSIONAL ORGANISATIONS IN YOUR NICHE.
Getting involved in professional organizations will not only help your business grow, but of course will go a long way towards personal and professional growth.
In addition to finding connectors, a great way to harness the power of a professional organization is to volunteer for them. Offer to do something for them for free: For example, if you’re a graphic designer, offer to design a landing page or give them something of value. In this way, you are putting a reminder in the minds of your clients, and when the need for a larger job arises, they call you or provide you with a contact who could hire you.
5. BUILD AN EMAIL LIST TO CONTACT YOUR EXISTING NETWORK
Running a business at some point was a bit difficult because I find it difficult to keep in touch with my existing clients. Until recently I discovered that an email list is one of the best things you can do for your business.
Do it! Just send them an email to see how things are going and ask if they need any additional help. Not everyone will check their social media account or website every day, but they most likely will check their email, which means you can “talk” to your potential customers and subscribers anytime you want. This is great for sharing limited-time offers and promoting your business.
